Ice regions is a new feature in VesTrak. Similar to the Piracy and War regions, Ice regions notifies you of regions where Ice is most likely to be encountered, allowing you to plan passages while keeping your vessels away from dangerous regions. Custom alerts can be set up to notify you when a vessel is nearing known ice areas.

User Defined Areas

User Defined Areas

VesTrak allows you to create custom defined regions according to the needs of your company, allowing your superintendents and masters to plan their voyages in accordance with your company’s defined Safety Management System. Set up email notifications to alert you when one of your vessels is approaching any region that you have defined, in the same manner as you might receive an alert for high risk regions like those affected by piracy, war, or ice.

Weather Overlays

Weather Overlays

VesTrak allows you to check for current and future weather forecast on map (automatic updated at every 6 hours). The system is able to show four weather parameters – Pressure, Wind, Swell, and Significant Wave Height.
